Top Things Adults Should Know

Have you been around with adults who seem to have learned nothing in their entire life? Well, I have seen some of these adults. In fact, I’m friends with some of them. While there can be sensible causes for such a condition, any adult must not use them as ultimate excuses for not aiming to learn. Below is a short list of the things people must know or able to do once they reach adulthood.

1)    Create fire – With natural disasters happening here and there, you’ll never know when you’re going to need your skills in fire making. Talk to a scout master or camping assistant who can teach you so. If you can’t find one, there are always instructional videos online.

2)    Drive a car – Driving is an important skill. You can save a family member who is serious danger if you can drive him to the nearest hospital. In connection to this, you must also know how to boost your car and  change flat tires.

3)    Live frugally – I know people who are always in a shopping free. Most of them ended literally poor when they lost their jobs. By being frugal – saving as much money as you can – you will be able to support yourself and/or your family  during tough times.

4)    Care for another person – Yes, there are people who grow old caring for themselves only. Giving others love and care can help you mature in all aspects of life. By doing so, you are pushing yourself to the limits and you will be surprised how strong and reliable you are as an adult.

Carry less cash.   Withdraw just enough money from your bank. The idea is to hold lesser cash. When you open your wallet and find that you only have $5, chances are you're less likely to spend it. Of course, if you do need to spend it, you'll have to withdraw money from your ATM card. This gives you more time to think w
