Quick Steps to Turning Your Brain into Positive Power House

Whether you are conscious or not, your brain thinks and works every minute. If you don't take the time to pause and screen your thoughts, your brain could be filled with negative thoughts that can lead to negative habits. Train your brain to produce positive thoughts only with the following ideas.

1) Allot at least ten minutes to monitor your thoughts - Spend ten minutes each day to analyse what kind of thoughts occupy your mind most of the time. This is a good way to start with your action plan.

2) Have a mantra or a motivational quote to live by - You can choose one mantra for each day or  you can have an ultimate one to give direction to your thoughts. Repeat the verse over and over if you feel like falling into the pit of negativity again.

3) Make use of your gadgets - Download in your smartphone or tablet PC an app that can help you live a stress-free life or provide you with words of affirmation everyday. You will be surprised to know that are already a lot of applications catering to this concern or topic.

4) List down all the things you're grateful for - Oftentimes, negative thoughts underscore the things that you lack. Take the opposite direction. On a paper, jot down the things you have. The spare time you spend on reading a good book is already a big dream for other people. By counting your blessings, you will learn to work more and need less.
